Wilson Feed Mill  was built in approx. 1853-55 by Andrew and Robert  Alexander & family on the banks of the Ohio & Erie Canal Thus it is still marked on many maps as Alexander's Mill . It was operated by them until sold  to Thomas Wilson & his son around 1901.  They had previously owned a mill in the Mill Stream area (modern day Broadway Ave & Miles Ave).Five generations of Wilsons have worked here in the years since.
The Mill  primarily was used in the milling and selling  of grains , flours ,
Animal & poultry feeds. In  the 1920's My Grandfather,  Thomas George Wilson II, boasted he made & sold the best bread flower in the area.

Changes come & changes go. His son,Thomas Richard, was next at the helm from the 1960's into the 2010's.
